Aurora Sky is located in a quiet, rural area near Hella in South Iceland. The setting is peaceful and remote, with open landscapes and minimal light pollution.

There are two cabins at Aurora Sky. They are nearly identical in layout and amenities, with the main difference being the full-wall artwork inside each cabin — one inspired by the Northern Lights, the other by volcanic lava.

Each cabin can accommodate up to 5 guests comfortably in an open-plan studio layout.

The cabins are studio-style with no separate bedrooms. Sleeping options include:

  • One king-size double bed

  • One single bed

  • One sofa bed

Yes. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, coffee capsule machine, electric kettle, pots, pans, and essential cookware for self-catering.

Yes. Coffee capsules and tea are provided, along with a kettle and coffee machine.

Each cabin has a modern bathroom with:

  • Walk-in shower

  • Heated floors

  • Heated towel rack
    Please note there is no bathtub.

Yes. The cabins are equipped with a heat pump system that provides heating during colder months and cooling during warmer days if needed.

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests.
Currently the connection runs on 4G, with a 5G upgrade in progress and new equipment already installed.

Yes. Free on-site parking is available directly by the cabins.

Yes — Aurora Sky is located in a very dark, rural area with virtually no light pollution, making it an excellent location for viewing the Northern Lights during the aurora season (typically September to April, weather permitting).
